I'm guessing it's the work of the exchange rate more than anything. It's definitely kept me from buying as many steels as I used to.

$19.99 (Avengers 2 release day price in USA) at exchange would have been $25.80 in Canada. There is more than exchange rate shenanigans going on with these.

At this point, I'm just waiting to see what is happening with the spine. Only Europe has released images of their spine and it is blank of any title. If Canada/USA copies have a title on the spine, I'm fine with paying no more than $32.99 for mine. However, without a title on the spine, this will be proving itself a very unacceptable situation.

The title on the spine ruins the illusion that it was designed to look like a hard drive.

They haven't posted images on the Best Buy Canada site yet. We are discussing based on what we've seen on the Best Buy USA site, since they will be identical products.

When it's on the shelf it's supposed to look like a case that is holding home media and should be designed so as to be able to identify which media is inside via the title being printed on it.

When it's in my hands, the front, back, and inside covers would be way more than enough to create the illusion of it being an SSD since you don't really look at the spine in that situation anyhow.

By your logic of keeping the illusion of an actual SSD as a primary focus for this release, the case should require a screwdriver and the loosening of at least 4 screws in order to get to the disc inside.

Probably had to do with the thread title. rabbit should have just made the title "Best Buy Steelbook Collectible Packaging [Canada]."

Although it states that the artwork is not final, there is hope yet for a title on the North American spine!

Went to my local BB at noon today; got the last one... They didn't seem to get that many. There was one place on the shelf for, say, 5-6 copies.

My Best Buy had around 20 copies or so, much less than they had for Age of Ultron.

Yet another Marvel rape. They started off by removing the DVD now they raise the price. What's next no Digital Copy?
