They don't make plasmas anymore. Good luck trying to find one.

Rtings does not(and has never) say "plasma had bad motion blur".

Have zero clue what you are reading.

And. They. Haven't. Been. Made. For. More. Than. A. Year.

(Which. You. Have. Been. Told. About. 20. Times.)

Wow.

Lousy grammar and lousy reading comprehension.

The Samsung review states VERY LOW MOTION BLUR.
The Panny states HIGHER MOTION BLUR THAN TYPICAL FOR PLASMA.

Neither one of those is a blanket "plasma suffers motion blur".

Aside from a few on NewEgg, look around eBay for models that are still out there because they stopped making them last spring. Look for reviews on those old models and decide.

1. Where are you even finding one to buy?
2. Plasma typically suffers more from "pixel float"(forget the actual term used) that people mistake as "motion blur".
3. LCD has NEVER caught up to even the worst plasma in motion smoothness.

In all fairness, there's still some on Amazon, NewEgg, eBay, HHGregg, etc. Not many, but enough to have a decent market. A quick search showed around 130 different models available for purchase.

HH Gregg has 0.

Amazon(itself) has 6.
NewEgg has 2. (not counting whoever "pro AV dealer" is and their ridiculous prices)

HHGregg for me shows 6. Maybe it's local as they geo-locate stock.
NewEgg still has them, regardless of who is marketplace selling. Same for Amazon. Amazon has a lot available with third party sellers. It still means there's more than enough out there for someone to buy new if they wished. Just because they stopped making them doesn't mean unsold models aren't still floating around. eBay shows over 70,000 under new plasma tvs.

If you know a lot about them, help them with reviews instead of debating where you can buy them? They may not be American with the way they type so English may not be their first language.

Amazon has good buyer protection. If you choose eBay use a credit card when you pay through paypal or the vendor's merchant account to be covered in case something is wrong with your tv. Also, make sure the seller has good reviews on eBay. A lot are long time sellers so that shouldn't an issue.

Good luck with your new purchase!

Bro you are hilarious. You are asking questions like you have a choice of which plasma to buy. You do not. You'll be lucky to find any plasmas. The longer you put it off the harder it will be. You were discussing this weeks maybe months ago. Plus, if I remember, your budget is like $400. You are carrying on like you might spend $2500. Suck it up and go buy a Samsung 47 inch led at best buy for $399. Boy, you ain't gettin no plasma.

I might have sounded harsh before...but you will never know about a tv until you plug it in at your house and watch it. I've had 2 lcds and they were great. Still have the vizio. There are some great looking sets out there I'm sure. Look at what best buy has to offer, do your research, purchase one. Keep it for a week. If you don't like it return it and get something else. Now I've had and have Samsung and vizios, so that's where my vote goes. I like em both. Hell vizio now has full array led, I'd bite. Heck with as long as you have drawn this out you should have maybe been able to save some more money. Just sayin.

Learn how to use proper grammar, and learn to do your own research, everyone has given you advice. You are very unlikely to find a plasma for 400$. You will not find a projector for 400$. Buy a Vizio, you'll be fine, when you are on a budget, enjoy what you have.
