toshiba reps in uk apparently mocked this and sais it was all BD had left! didnt see the 12 disks that go with a tosh player then...

would be better if Sony do the same thing. most people will opt for Sony TVs, including myself and my family.

Blu-Ray has really done it's part this holiday season to really take it to HD-DVD. The payoff to Paramount/Dreamworks might be hurting HD-DVD. They are not having nearly as many BOGO and package deals as BD. Don't get me wrong, they are having sales, but not like BD. BD really put the pedal to the medal to put a knockout blow to HD-DVD.

Best Buy is bundling the Sony 40 inch LCD Bravia with a 40GB PS3 and in home installation for $1799 total (until this saturday).

While I'd love to see Sony (and Pioneer) do this, Panasonic has the most popular line of plasma TVs, so they would be my first choice this holiday season (I myself has a Sony SXRD RPTV).
