Card Card & Debit Card #'s stolen

so i've already called the credit card and they've closed the account.

what does your bank usually do when there are charges that you haven't made??

do you get the money back right away or do i have to wait??

b/c obviously my debit card is tied to my checking account and i don't want checks i've already sent out to bounce.

i guess there was a problem w/a guy i did a paypal transaction with and someone hacked his account.

my debit and credit cards had $1 charges but then credited.

i look today and there are almost $1000 worth of charges today!!!
