Not saying I'm an expert, but you have to make sure it's moist and warm. Dab your fingers with some water, rub them on the tortilla and place in the microwave to warm it up.

Have a 20% Mexican girlfriend on standby...

Kidding...

Warmed up for 10-15 seconds in the microwave or buy a tortilla server...

Gluten allergy? I like corn tortillas but only if they are used in enchiladas.

I just "read up" as well(I noticed "corn" after I replied...)

2 tips...

Warm them up in the correct sized fry pan that is lightly oiled if rolling a burrito.

Or, for enchiladas...

Warm them up pre-soaked in sauce.

Brand / maker also matters. Some corn tortillas are way too thin and will break apart. They're way too crumbly and dry. If you have a local place that makes fresh corn tortillas, of course, that's the best place to get them.

I do this with all flat breads (tortilla, pita, naan....) take the bread, run it quickly under the tap (i.e. get it wet) and microwave it for a bit (steaming hot).

PS if I am warming a few, I then place them over a bowl with some water to add more moisture in the MW.
