levcore Blu-ray Grand Duke Member since:Jun 2011 Location:Dryland 4K collection:306 Blu-ray collection:2617 Trading Score:3	Franchises with Theatrical first movies and DTV/ TV sequels There seem to be a few of these out there, so which ones are they? The Sniper series comes to mind. There are an astonishing 10 Sniper movies, after the theatrically released 1993 original. All 9 of the sequels were DTV/ TV movies as far as i know. Also Starship Troopers, i understand there are 5 of these now. Only the first movie was released theatrically.
