I have never received anything Like this from E-bay, I should read real close, but YOu are going to get a Negative feedback just as soon as I can Leave it, I think You are a sorry Person and a Theif, People Like You need to be Gone from E-bay!!!!!!!!! I will try to get Hold of e-bay and see if I can get You run OFF!!!
I am not sure what to do, really and this is making me really nervous since I have never done anything but to strive to make the buyer aware of what I am selling. I have also sent a message saying what is wrong and clearly worded again that I was selling the slipcover only and what can I do to make it right.

I am already in a bad state as is it. I lost my father weeks ago but its still fresh and I am having trouble dealing with things. I am an emotional wreck and this happens. My Life sucks.

It's not your fault the buyer can't read, there's nothing really you can do about him leaving you negative feedback except respond to his negative feedback so other buyers are aware that you responded fairly and tried to resolve the issue, the buyer can't run you off of ebay he just sounds like a jerk trying to get the item and his money back

exactly! you are not responsible for his idiocy and inability to comprehend what he reads (if, in fact, he can actually read).

take screenshots of every single message he sends to you, and of the listing page (if it's still viewable). then contact e-bay yourself and tell them you are being threatened (which you are).

i read things like what he posted on amazon a lot. someone gives the product a 1 start rating and then they state, in the review, that they didn't read the product description fully and didn't know it had this or didn't have that. so they admit to being wrong, but blame someone else for it.

Don't worry about it man. If you posted the proper pictures and had a good description, then that tool won't get anything from you or ebay. Sorry about your dad man. My condolences.

There's also a chance he's a scammer and just wants it for free. Ebay is very seller unfriendly these days. You can't even give negative feedback to deadbeats and scammers.

What an idiot. Then again, the buyer seems to have problems with proper capitalization so I'm not surprised.

I refunded the money. The only thing I really lost was my time and shipping since I offered free shipping.

Honestly the person is serious since she came out and said basically why read everything even though it was in the frcken' title. Also who buys slipcovers?

If any one knows how to redo feedback sine I left it after I mailed it because I was thinking of waiting but she was fast in her payment.

i wouldn't have refunded a penny back to them.

if they can't/won't/don't read the entire title or description, that is totally on them. one negative feedback won't ruin your seller rating. screw 'em!

it's people like that (buyer) who have made ebay basically like stealbay. "if i complain enough, they'll refund the money and i can get it for free."

and that is PRECISELY why i don't use ebay.

4 things:

1) If he leaves inaccurate feedback, simply call eBay and ask for removal. Your listing clearly says slipcover only in the title and the listing I am sure.

2) Change your listing titles to START with the words "Slipcover Only". That is what I do and since I started, I've had no issues.

3) Load your listing with the words "Slipcover Only". All of my listings say "slipcover only" 16 times. Yes 16. There will be zero excuses on my listings.

4) If your listing a slipcover only or some other type of accessory...DO NOT use the eBay autofill information. You are not listing the movie, so make sure no details about the movie (that you are not selling) is in the listing. The autofill information in your listing states that it comes with a disc and even has a UPC...which only adds to buyer confusion.

As a side note, How did you make any money selling that? After shipping and fees, pretty sure you netted less than a quarter.

Good luck.

I put in movies like everyone else who does slipcovers. She must have something against me and I am probably being paranoid.

I was selling other stuff so it was easier to keep track of things otherwise I would have put it on here.
I saw he left you negative feedback in which he defames you with inaccurate information. Call eBay, ask for help.

This. All of this is good advice.

I only sold the actual movie not the slipcover so under the pressure and stress I've been had I probably did that without thinking.

If I do anymore I try to keep everyone's advice in mind. I appreciate it.

I didn't make anything anyway. hopefully eBay doesn't hit me with fees.

I hopefully I am almost through selling. I've hardly ever sold and when I did I rarely get feedback anyway.

I'll stick to here for movies and find another place for the other stuff.

@whysoblu thankyou.

If that's true than you definitely listed incorrectly and do owe the buyer a refund. Your title and description says slipcover only, the eBay autofill info says DVD, so really, I have no idea what you sold either.

I probably should proofread but it doesn't matter as

A) already issued $2.50

and

B) reported to eBay since the first message contains threatening language.

but to highlight

I have only sold the movies themselves never slipcovers so with the shit and stuff going on I was clearly wasn't thinking. Everyday is more stressful than the last and other personal reasons make it seem a never ending dark age.

You didn't really do anything wrong, it's their fault they saw a price first and didn't bother to read the listing or the listings title. There are plenty of slips only listings under DVD/Blu-ray as well and even more under it's Storage & Media Accessories and Wholesale Lots.

You can't worry about one idiot buyer, that didn't bother to read the title and product description, but you don't need to give information on the movie itself, as you're not actually selling it. But list the UPC as some people will want to match their case to the slip cover. A lot of slip covers say "NO BLU-RAY or CASE!" in the pictures too, so you might want to copy those in the future. If you get the opportunity give the buyer feedback as well, other sellers should know that they can't read and are likely to cause a fuss.

Feel better, mate.
