United Kingdom Caprica coming to blu-ray in the UK Oct 12th 2015!

Finally! Although it seems (at the moment anyway) that it'll only be part of this super-duper Battlestar Galactica set:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Battlestar-G...62419&sr=1-287

This looks like the same style packaging as the French release from last year, which is very cool, although with a different disc count (27 vs. 29).
I wonder if finally Caprica will be 1080p or of it'll be the same 1080i version as released in France, Germany and Nordic countries?! I'm not holding my breath.

Caprica separately would be nice, as it's the only one I don't have.

Great to see coming to the UK except for the price !
£200 is a joke when the French release is around £75 including shipping to UK and disks will be identical.

You can be certain it will be exactly the same as the recent German release, got mine a few weeks ago for £19 delivered.

I am sure the UK will get the German / Scandinavian disks as these have English menus. Doesn't the French release only have French menus ? although it still has the English audio ?

My concern is the French complete Battlestar boxset will have these older French Caprica disks rather than the newer ones made for other European countries which I don't think are French friendly.

I had the French release a few years ago and it was definitely tailored for them as like you say it only had French menus and I believe it defaulted to French audio but it did have English DTS-HD MA 5.1

I am sure the French BSG boxset will include the French discs but that isn't a bad thing considering the newer German/Scandinavian discs seem to have an edited version of the pilot (and perhaps other episodes) and can't be sure but I don't think they include some of the extras present on the French discs.

Doubt we will see a 1080/24p version of Caprica unless it gets released in the US.

I don't think anyone here is a fan of scratched discs. Luckily it looks like this set won't cause any problems in that area.
