Default Are these movies available on DVD/streaming?

I have searched high and low for these films on DVD (and videotape in the past) but no luck! I thought I would use the amazing resources of this forum to see if if I get lucky

If you know of these films available in a good format to purchase then please let me know...

1) New Delhi Times
2) Yeh Woh Manzil Tho Nahin
3) Anantyatra

The 2 below, I am looking for a 16:9 aspect ratio version (anamorphic). I have the 4:3 letterboxed version that's terrible!

1) Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi
2) Bombay Boys

Haha, I was thinking of doing a "You kids don't know how good you have it" post in the thread where people were whining about how they are only getting streaming and not physical discs of the movies they want. With these movies, all that seems to remain is memory streams of when you last watched them on DD or at some film fest in that period.

I recall the Shemaroo DVD of HKA looking bad (with anemic colors) but I don't recall it being non-anamorphic. I wouldn't be surprised though. I thought Bombay Boys was a terrible film altogether (watched it at the cinema and felt like I was getting a lobotomy), so you will excuse me if I don't share your desire to own any home video version of it

While that memory is still vivid, that may change as the aging process continues

The sad part is, these are not some obscure filmmakers (at least Sudhir Mishra or Romesh Sharma aren't) so preserving/showcasing their films is not asking for too much!

EDIT: On Bombay Boys - that was a snafu. I intended to put "English, August" but had Rahul Bose in mind and copy pasted the wrong title! I have a VCD of this movie which I suspect is a camera rip, its horrendous!

Nice save
With regards to E,A there was no previous official home video release of the film, and that VCD was either a cam rip or bootlegged from the broadcast tape stored in Star TV office. I don't know if you saw the post I made some weeks ago about director Dev Benegal talking of acquiring a Taiwanese / French print of the film for scanning and restoration. So there is some slim chance that it may come out in some format, fingers crossed.

Now that you mention it, I do remember your post about the E,A DVD. I may have even commented on it. Talk about vivid memory (or lack of it!) 😉
