As of yet no word on English sub/dub (though it'd be mighty odd if it was released without either, considering the English on the box - but maybe there's precedent for that?)

Having an English title on the box doesn't mean it will have English dub and/or subtitles.

If you scroll towards the bottom of the official page, it only lists Japanese LPCM 2.0, and no subtitles are mentioned.

In that case I guess we could hope for either
A. Subs announced for it in the weeks ahead, or
B. Someone else to license it in English-speaking Region A

Any idea what the North American rights look like for PA?

Well, Geneon owned the rights, when they went under I guess the license fell into limbo. Funimation have been good at picking up what Geneon left behind so it shouldn't suprise me if they picked this one up sooner or later...

I'm fine with the UK boxset I have, even if there is a small cut in 1 episode...

Any more word on subs, the August release date is coming up fast.
