Mariah Carey: Adventures of Mimi Blu-ray Review

Bought this today as well. Watching it right now. PQ is quite excellent. Mariah looks damn good in HD. The PCM 5.1 soundtrack kicks as well. Her voice reigns supreme through the center channel. Very clear and loud. Another great Blu-ray concert!

Oh and this Blu-ray comes with a CD-ROM for your PC with all kinds of interactive extras.

Well I guess I might have to pick it up since now it is confirmed to have a 5.1 PCM track instead of the earlier reported DD 5.1.

I ordered this from Amazon a couple days ago - can't wait to get it. I have the DVD version that came out back in November I believe...but Blu is better.

I saw it last night and thought the concert was very entertaining and enjoyable with great PQ/AQ. I already watched it twice in a row. I left my review here in the forum if you want to get some info.

By the way, it's $17.99 (was $16.99) at tower.com.

Does she perform any of her classic hits from the first three albums -- or just the recent R&B stuff? I love M.C.

Nice.. the original press release was listing only DD 5.1 so i was afraid but since Image doing either PCM or DTS HD MA, i founded it weird. Great news.. a Show should always be loseless..

"Not my bag of tea". .....and i completely forget where that quote was from. Some movie i think. If anyone knows, post your answer, cause this is gonna bug me.

Anyway. I diddnt even know that there was a Mariah Carey BD out. Thats kinda cool i guess.

EDIT: I remember where the quote was from. Reviews on the Run... My friend watches that thing all the time.

Yes. This tour was a greatest hits tour. She sings many of her hits including: "Vision of love", "Make it happen", "Always be my baby", "Fantasy", "I'll Be There", "Heartbreaker", "Honey"...to name a few.

Where did you get it? I tried to find it locally but didn't have much luck. BB showed it being in stock but they said they didn't have it. I tried CC and Target as well. Anyway, ended up ordering it from Amazon so I won't get it until Thursday now.

Best Buy. I work there part time and put out 3 copies of it last night.

I wasn't sure if Best Buy was getting it because I couldn't find it on their website. I was going to buy it locally instead of ordering online. Oh well...

This concert came out on DVD last year, that single is from this year. BTW, anybody picking up her new CD E=MC2 today?
