August Underground Trilogy (think I got ripped off with bootleg)

Hey folks

I have been looking for this title for a while as it is oop. Found a copy on ebay for $150 but I am concerned it is a bootleg.

The title has not arrived yet but the seller is claiming it's a bdr, specifically he says it's a "German Horror Convention BDR" Alarm bells are ringing especially since the seller claims he does not and will not accept return.

Anyone who has seen one of these know if Toetag released them pressed or on bd-r?

I have the one that you provided a link for. It is definitely a pressed disc. What you are getting, I couldn't tell you. Also if the original listing didnt say anything about a bootleg, and the seller is admitting it's a bootleg, you could probably get your money back. You can easily tell the difference between a BDR and a pressed disc, looking at the bottom of the disc. If it hasn't shipped yet, try to get the seller to take a picture of the bottom of the disc. Mines in storage now or else I'd take some pics of mine for you to compare to yours.

Seller has agreed to refund, it already shipped but he's willing to issue refund if I refuse the package when delivery is attempted.

Back to looking for a genuine copy for me , been trying to find one at a decent price for quute some time.

Unearthed Films has announced the August Underground Trilogy boxed set is coming "soon". I follow Unearthed on several social media platforms waiting for their pre-order announcement, as this will be Day One for me.

I've let several Toetag version slip through my fingers on ebay due to extreme prices, and there are way too many bootleg versions to sift through.
