John Lasseter / Disney Animation NHK Documentary -- April 24th, 2015

Disney Japan will release an NHK Documentary on John Lasseter and Disney Animation on April 24th, 2015. The Japanese title is 魔法の映画はこうして生まれる/ジョン・ラセターとディズニー・アニメーション (2014).

The documentary was first broadcast by NHK on November 24, 2014, with narration by Kasumi Arimura. Presently, it is unclear to me whether the release will have separate Japanese: Dolby Digital 2.0 and full English: Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks, or whether Disney is describing a single, mixed Japanese/English: Dolby Digital 2.0 track. I am leaning towards the latter, however, which means that only the portions of the documentary containing English interviews would be English-friendly.

Disney also indicates only Japanese subtitles on the BD at this time.
