United Kingdom South Pacific UK Blu-ray

I have just received my copy of the UK release of Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific (1958) on blu-ray, apparantly it's been out for a while but I only just came across it at HMV...

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has this blu and if so could you check something out for me as it's driving me mad!

To me the sound during 'I'm Gonna Wash...' on disc 1 is clearly out of sync from the beginning. This isn't the case on the Region 2 2-disc special edition DVD - (although the sound does go a little out occasionally just down to bad lip-syncing, and this has always been the case) but it IS the case on the Region A blu copy I also have. However, I brought this up on the American thread when the US edition was first released and most of the posters said it was in sync or just slightly out occasionally like it had always been (and is on the DVD) and some suggested I check my settings/equipment. It led me to believe that my copy was faulty...

Well now I have the the UK edition - thinking it would be fine, and again to me, the sound is out throughout most of the song. I've checked it against my DVD and yup it's definitely out..!

If you have the UK release of this blu could you please check it out and let me know what you think?

Thanks!

Matt
