United Kingdom Sleepy Hollow: The Complete First Season (UK Blu-ray set)

Have done a thread search in the United Kingdom & Ireland sub-folder for a thread about this autumn's UK Blu-ray release of Sleepy Hollow: The Complete First Season, and can not find an existing thread.

Amazon UK haven't posted final front cover artwork/final 3D front cover artwork yet for the UK Blu-ray release of Sleepy Hollow's first season (but sometimes this has happened with other film and/or TV titles on DVD and Blu-ray, the Amazon UK listing page isn't updated with final front cover artwork/final 3D front cover artwork).

The release date for the UK Blu-ray set is still (at the moment) Monday 27th October. Temporary front cover artwork for the UK Blu-ray set (source: Amazon UK):

I watched the pilot this week actually. Very disappointing, can't see this leading anywhere interesting personally and it was a bit cheesy. I was so up for a decent horror type show though as the good ones are so few and far between and the concept of the headless horseman is cool. I kind of am tempted to see if it picks up but the groundwork laid out by the pilot does not give me much hope.

The first season was great in my opinion. I will get this eventually but because i've already seen it, i can wait for the price to come down. I'm just waiting for season 2 to start!

Very much liked the pilot episode of Sleepy Hollow, then I lost a bit of interest in the first season with the next few episodes. That changed though with the episode "Sanctuary", which was like an X Files 'monster of the week' episode. Really got the series at that point. Whilst I didn't think the season ended very strongly, it was still good enough to make me want to see the second season.

The second season starts in the UK on Wednesday 15th October (on Universal Channel).

It seems Season 3 isn't getting a BR release... Another show that gets abandoned mid-run. I won't be buying the DVDs so I hope Fox get a BR version out at some point.
