There seems to be multiple Blu-Rays for this film (German, UK, Australian, Korean, and probably others).
Is there a consensus on what the best version is (which has English subtitles)? I already have a region-free Blu-Ray player, so I should be capable of playing any disc. |

to the best of my understanding the best release of A Tale of Two Sisters with English subs may be the Australian Umbrella Entertainment release that came out about two months ago. contains pretty much the same extras as the other releases and the transfer was sourced from a 4K restoration with new color grading. they're still in stock with the slipcase on their website and i also believe the alternative collectors edition is also in stock for a short time.
go check it out and see if it's a good fit for you! ![]() |

I have owned basically every version of this and currently the Australian release would be the best English friendly version, at least until someone releases a 4K version from the master that was used. It is not without issues though.
