There is supposed to be a Christine on Barrett Jackson tonight I believe. The same one that sold there years ago but makes it to TV this time.

Keep hoping for a wider release of the blu so its affordable. My favorite King book by far. Few years ago there was talk of a Christine miniseries, think all that fell through tho.

I think so, i dream about a book followed movie.

I want to see the wedding scene in a movie and Darnell's and Buddy's death from the book in movie form.

Yea the miniseries was supposed to follow the book close. Heard it was dropped because car collectors didn't wont another Fury tore up. They are few and far between so I get that. Think they could do most of the damage with computer effects tho. Then they talked about using a camero for Christine. Of course the fans didn't like that me included. You can't change the main character. Side note was able to get a hardback copy of Christine signed by Stephen King. Don't know if he does now or not, but he use to sign two items if you sent it in the mail.

It most likely didn't happen because of Producer Richard Kobritz who owns the rights to any new Christine didn't like whatever they shown him.

The Barrett Jackson Christine sold $170.000 which was the films giveaway car. Too bad I couldn't have won the lotto because I would have paid more than that for her as she's been my dream car since back then.

Same here, from what I know the push button transmission was the only constant issues the Fury had with it. Awesome car.

From what I heard from Keith the pushbutton was like that while filming. Although most people I heard from who has Forward Look Mopars with them they work really well. It might have been because the cars they got for filming were not mostly done for accuracy with the exception of the few cars filmed for beauty shots.

The other makes had more trouble with their pushbuttons like the free floating one in the 1958 Edsel that was taken out for 59.

The features on the dvd, they say the transmission acted up in the scene where Christine was on fire. Right before the driver was going to bail it went into gear. The push buttons are making a big come back now. At work we have dump trucks with it.

Yeah but Twilight Time are those effing a-holes that dont release enough copies and cause all this grief. They gonna release 100 copies this time? Ill just stick with the DVD. Its not like the film was ever a visual masterpiece anyways.

As for the film itself - very solid but the ending was a tad under-whelming. The final "conflict" scene was a little meh. Its a classic though and transferred fairly well from book to film. Heck, I even like how the film didnt reveal as much about the cars reasoning for being the way it is. Well done!

"Christine" is available on blu-ray in other countries region free. I own the German versions myself, the back cover is in German, but since Christine is a proper noun the spine looks fantastic.

The menus on the disc are even in English (or whatever language your player has set as the default). I pre-ordered my copy months ago and it was only like $15 shipped and I believe it's even cheaper now.

There's a Japanese version, too, that you can get by itself or in a two-pack with Fright Night. The bundle's less than $19 shipped.

Christine even comes with a bunch of extras, including a commentary with John Carpenter and Keith Gordon.

Double confirmed.
The international versions have all the extras the TT version has save for the isolated score track. It's basically a 1 to 1 upgrade of the 2004 special edition DVD.

Last week recieved my German edition. First time viewing on blu. It looks great, Christine has never been this shiny before. Features are the same as the dvd. Do recommended this over the TT for price and availability. Very pleased with my copy. Combined my dvd and blu together in a blu case and used the english dvd cover for it after sizing it down.
