Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, no menu, no menu?

I just got my blue ray copy of KKBB, something is not right. First off the movie starts out right away going to the main film without the main menu, strange...when I try and look at the menu, I get the "Special features" section, furthermore when I turn on the commentary it will not go off unless I turn off the unit the, Sony 300, and restart it. Don't get me wrong, it looks great and it was cheap, less then 20 bucks, is it possible this is a bootleg? It seems hard to believe, but I have bought my share of them overseas. Has anyone else bought KKBB, it rules, one of the best films ever, but is it real?

The copies at the swap meet say "blue ray."

I just got this movie (thanks BOGO), but I haven't played it yet.

I guess no menu means no extras.

But hey, why take a few minutes to shoot some interviews? It's not like you are spending $15 million or so to make the movie. Dropping another few thousand would kill the budget.

Yea ALL Warner title have no menus. They just start after the previews.

extras or not its a really good film it was a blind buy for me and i don't regret it

I liked the movie as well.

I had been patiently waiting for it to be part of a BOGO and finally it happened.

A lot of Warner titles just start playing without going to the main menu first (so that part at least is probably normal).

For most warner movies that is about all you are going to get on a Warner title.

I was watching mine last night. I don't have any problems with the commentary and all WB discs start out without going to the menu.

I believe that even Paramount's Sky Captain started the same way. But Omega Man was like that--just went right to the movie. I guess I'm used to menus first--even all those freaking previews before that--then the movie.
