Didn't know ZZ Top were in this film?

Pass on all these new steels. Might get Budapest Hotel at some point.

Another case of overlooking excellent theatrical artwork.

That image is just as bad. Would've been amazing had they stuck with the original artwork for the front with Thing on the back and a shot of the lightbulb scene as the interior or a landscape shot of the house exterior. Hell, anything is better than what was chosen.

Dang. Was super excited when I saw the thread posting, but my excitement turned into grief when I saw the artwork. Why would they put Cousin It so prominent on the front cover? He is a cool guy, but I just don't think he deserves that much cover space when he is a minimal character in the film. I think this cover would have been a good choice as a variation if there were already like 5 steelbooks out for this film from Zavvi, but not for the first one. Too bad, would have bought this in a heartbeat if the original movie poster was used.
adam family 1.jpg

I would have liked the original movie poster on the front and an image of the iconic home on the back, like this photo

adams family houseee.jpg

I wouldn't even have minded if they used this DVD release front artwork

adams family 2.3.jpg

Or even if they used this promo artwork and put a photo of the family on the back

If the 'back' had of been the 'front', I may have bit. As it is now... nope.

Zavvi is just getting worse and worse. I get steelbooks because if I buy physical media, I want it to have an air of luxury over it, but it's getting harder and harder to justify getting these steels, especially with art like this.

The only zavvi covers that I own with original poster art are halloween and clerks. Do they have any others with original poster art? I wish they would have on this one.
