Ability to give thanks to a post is touch and go for me.

Is it just me or has the ability to give thanks to a post been touch and go for the past several days? One moment the thanks button will be there. A short time later if returning to the same thread or when going to different thread the thanks button won't be there (...per a given post that I haven't already given thanks to of course). Sometimes when the thanks button is there I'll press it and my thanks will not show up. Later on returning to the thread it will finally be showing. Just wondering if others are experiencing the same. The feature appears to be touch and go throughout the day. Very odd.
