United Kingdom The Lazarus Effect

Picked up yesterday in HMV for £9.99. As a big fan of Flatliners, i really enjoyed this movie too, i thought it was pretty underrated and well done. Nice Lenticular slipcase also:

I'm a huge fan of Flatliners too. So is this along those lines? I cancelled my order as the reviews were not kind and thought I'd pick up in the next couple of months, as I'm guess this will be £5.99 before long

I got rotten reviews and i don't want to recommend it and then you end up hating it. I tend to disagree with the vast majority of reviewers when it comes to movies and tend to like a lot of stuff that gets slated, especially horror movie as i love horror. All i can say is that i really enjoyed it.

Haha, don't worry I wouldn't hold it against you. I do tend to ignore main reviews as most set high standards and anything not mega blockbuster or aimed as the oscars gets poor reviews. But the customer reviews on Amazon or IMDb I tend to help sway a blind buy.

I will pick this up, cast seem good and story line. As it was £8.99 new online, im just going to wait a bit for a deal.

I've seen your comments around here and they're usually likeminded so if you like it, I'm sure I at least won't dislike it. That is good enough for £6-£7.

I watched it last night, it doesn't break any new ground. I thought it was okay, seemed to be over just as it was building some interest. Always good to see Olivia Wilde though.

It's a decent little film nothing new but worth a pick up when it goes down in price. Olivia Wilde is always worth a watch.

Wish it was a bit longer, it's very short. It has a cracking ending though and i certainly think it could have gone on for at least another ten minutes or so. There are 4 minutes of deleted scenes which would have been good back in the movie, especially as the credits begin before the 1 hour 18 minute mark!
