For those who haven't been following the saga of THE DEAD NEXT DOOR Ultimate Edition Blu-ray on this forum, a heads-up that the Digital HD version of this set is now available to preorder exclusively from VHX at a steep discount!

Preorders placed between now and the end of October are just $9.99 (compared to $34.99 plus shipping for a physical copy!) and can be streamed on Friday, November 13. (Downloadable versions will be available at a later date).

Of note, the Digital HD version includes ALL of the content from the 3-Disc Ultimate Edition set, including MP3 versions of the CD soundtrack and PDF versions of the packaging. Insanely cheap for four versions of the movie with loads of extras, but this price is only valid thru the end of October. Enjoy!

Streaming via their website? Thanks for posting this...not sure how excited I am about buying something from a company that might go out of business. Did I miss it will they offer it via Vudu?

I placed an order, since it looks like I missed out on the hardcopy. The product page says "streaming only at this time, downloads will be available at a later date." The receipt says it'll be available Nov. 13th (and that's when my card will be charged too).

I'm just happy it comes with the soundtrack. I hope it's high-quality MP3s.

I really like VHX, so we're launching there exclusively for digital right now. In addition to streaming via web, they also have apps for Roku and iPhone, and can be used with Chromecast and game consoles as well.

Streaming is a tricky business for small companies like us... in a perfect world I'd love to be on iTunes, VUDU, Hulu, etc. and we're definitely working on making it happen in the future. In the meantime, VHX is where it's at!
