Default Treasure Island (1990) with Christian Bale & Charlton Heston

I had been wanting to see this film for years. When I found out that it was released on DVD for the first time recently, I immediately placed my order. It did not disappoint. This film is phenomenal and I urge everyone to see it.

For anyone wondering, the DVD is 1.78:1 widescreen and looks great. It premiered in the US on TNT in 1.33:1. I believe it was released theatrically in Europe.

Hopefully this DVD sales well enough to warrant a blu-ray release.
