Parenthood Blu-ray Review

out of the dated universal 100 anniversary titles. this one stuck out for me more besides Jaws..

Will def pick this up. Can't believe this movie came out in 89...it feels and IMO looks so modern.

Now if only Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure would come out

I'm glad, in general, to see more Steve Martin coming to blu-ray. First, Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Then last November we got Three Amigos and then Grand Canyon, last month. Disney is shockingly releasing Father of the Bride 1 and 2 as a 2-pack and Bringing Down the House in the coming months.

All I can hope for now is some Bowfinger, My Blue Heaven, L.A. Story and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Man! I went to Best Buy yesterday and saw that The Three Amigos is priced at $37.99. I mean what...the...hell?! Has it been remastered in 3D er something, jeez!

Had to be a mistake. It's $11.99 at Amazon.

Amazon just dropped the price of 'Parenthood' from $14.99 to $11.99! Even better (for me), 'Parenthood' was in my Gold Box yesterday and I placed a pre-order. I'll get another 5% off of the $11.99 price! Fantastic!

Now, if only the transfer turns out to be a decent one.

I sent them in 2 different mentions of the BB price, so it must be me who got them to change it so quickly. You're welcome.

Those Universal coupons require you to give them too much personal information. No thanks!

Edit: My mistake. I was thinking of a different coupon offer. I've printed a $3 coupon and cancelled my Amazon order. I happen to have a Best Buy gift card with about $12 on it so this will work out well!

If the price had stayed at $14.99, I would have done just that.

But I have Prime, so I'll let someone else burn fuel delivering it to my door without any sales tax for me to pay. I see it as pretty much a wash for only $3.

I'm also a Prime member. If I didn't already have a BB gift card with about $12 on it (which I've been sitting on for many months now), I'd have stayed with my Amazon order.

With Chicago sales tax, it's only a savings of about $2.
