Pre-orders are up for Blu-ray and 4K editions of Westworld, release date 6th November 2017.

I presume the listing is incorrect stating the 4K release in UK comes with digital copy.
Under the terms of their TV deal with Sky, HBO (Warner) aren't allowed to offer ultraviolet digital copies with their DVDs and BDs in the UK, unlike in US and mainland Europe.

I thought it might have been copied from the US listing but some of the specs are different.

Is the Sky deal with HBO directly or Warner? While HBO is owned by Warner, I think it is a separate legal entity.

While other shows on HBO like Game of Thrones are made by HBO themselves, Westworld was made by Warner and broadcast by HBO.

Re: the digital copy I'm thinking it will come with one as The Leftovers S1 came with UV over here and that was a Warner production rather than HBO too.

And does anyone know what a tin is? How does that differ from a steelbook?

Steelbook™ is a brand of case, if they're off-brand (or quite large) they're often called metal tins or similar.

Zavvi appears to now offer this in 4K in two different packaging options. One costs £39.99 and the other £59.99 so quite a difference in price there. Does anyone know what's the difference between these two versions?

The one with the red cover that looks to be a steelbook has been available to pre-order for months, but then when I checked Zavvi this week to finally put my pre-order in there suddenly was another option available with (seemingly) the same cover art as the regular blu-ray release. And the weird thing is how the price is so much higher than the one that looks like a steelbook. Normally the steelbook release should cost way more than the regular release, not the opposite. And judging by the cover art it even seems the more expensive option does not include digital copy, which the cheaper option does. It's very puzzling.

Thanks! So basically the steelbook version is a killer deal then? Seeing that it's much cheaper, it's a steelbook, plus it's having digital copies included.
With that kind of deal I wonder if Amazon and Zavvi manages to push even a single copy of the regular version through pre-orders.

Its not a steelbook, its a metal tin (similar to Band Of Brothers and The Pacific) with an UHD case inside.
