I watched In the Line of Duty 4 and bother Tiger Cages (1and2) and one the of the reviews for in the line of duty mentioned that it was a DVD upscale. It seems CMS Media Limited put all 3 of these movies on bluray.
Personally I think they looked pretty good and better than the DVDs the I've seen online. It looks like some DNR was used but it's not distraction and the detail and sharpness is pretty good. What do you think? Is it ok for some old films (and lower budget ones) to have upscales? Are there any other blurays guilty of this? |
