Default Why are all the HDDVD execs so quiet lately?

I'm not sure what to think.

All of the execs of the major HDDVD supporting studios, manufacturers (all one of them.. Toshiba) and whatever Microsoft is were constantly throwing quotes and articles around about the advantages of HDDVD and how it will win, etc.

Well, I've noticed that over the past two months there has been nearly nothing from these people. No commentary whatsoever. The complete absence of the once very outspoken Ken Graffeo at Universal is very interesting.

Where did they all go and why did they all suddenly shut up?

Could this be the cause? https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...752#post411752

The spotlights are all pointing in one direction it seems and that direction is Blu-ray.

They were all proven wrong, by the latest numbers and growth of the BR market. There is nothing for them to be loud about.

hddvd.com forum has only 2 or 3 members talking well 4 or 5 if you count blu supporters. Everyone has gone quiet when the only thing floating are rumors.

Very weird indeed.

It's hard to talk when your mouth is full of something.

They're busy looking for jobs. Those are hard to get when your last big decision was so terribly wrong that it cost your company millions.

They are writing their final poems. Soon they will wrap them round their wakizashis, plunge them into their stomachs and ritually disembowel themselves.

Apart from Paramount executives... They are proven to be gutless .
