Extra Vudu Account

A few years back I created a second Vudu account for a friend who has since passed away. It was connected to my main UV library so it has over 1400 movies in it. Since UV has gone away it is now a stand alone Vudu account.

My main account has over 1900 movies so I don't have any use for this second account. Is there anything that I can do with the second account? I need to delete the email it is associated with and I hate to just have Vudu delete the account.

Change the email and keep it as a back up account. Sorry about your friend.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I didn't think about just changing the email to one of my other accounts. Lol Thank you for the reminder.

Are there movies in the other account that aren't in your account? You could disconnect your VUDU account from your Movies Anywhere account and connect your Movies Anywhere account to the other VUDU account to get any of those movies that are MA compatible. I think time limit before MA would let you reconnect you MA account to a different VUDU account, but eventually it would all work out. Or just gift the account to someone else who likes movies.

Can you call Vudu and just merge the accounts? You will have to add all your info on the other account before they will do it.

I seem to have a separate vudu account even though both use the same email address.

One has all my stuff and the other is full of instawatch titles only.

I don’t know if the smaller account has much or anything that’s not in the main account.

Sometimes I hope I never get the passwords mixed up for somehow forget the password of the useful one.

I would try to fix it but I stopped caring about vudu for the most part long ago. I think only one of my friends still uses my account and not even maybe,

I will most appreciatively accept any and all unwanted digital copy codes and/or unwanted accounts of any kind.

I don't think there's anything you can do with a second account.
Maybe you could let a friend/family member log into it but not sure if that violated Vudu's terms of service (which is one reason you shouldn't 'sell' or let anyone you don't trust use the account).

I'm not sure how willing Vudu is to merge accounts these days. Also if from UV the second account would have all the same movies as the first account.
