Would be nice if this came with some more substantial supplements than the last few Soderbergh films, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Really great film, one of my favorites so far this year and certainly a great note for Soderbergh to go out on.

I have to assume that the lack of commentaries (or any other extras) on Soderbergh's last few films has to do with his loss of interest in the whole film medium which has led him to retire.

For all the jokes people cracked about him retiring, he set a date a few years ago and stuck to it. The specific projects he was planning to do just changed a lot, and every time a new one got added (to replace an old one that had died usually) people joked about his retiring. The date, however, never changed, and when it came he stopped, just as he said he would.

I read his recent interview in Total Film, where he soft balled the proclamation and proclaimed more like a ten year hiatus. Whichever, whatever, it would sadden me to see him quit. I have enjoyed his work so.

Missed the theatrical run it seems..hopefully it pops up in the local cheap theater but from what I've read review wise the movie seems right up my alley.

This is definitely a day one buy for me as well! Rooney was amazing in it. I think she may be my generation's Meryl Streep (although no one will ever match Meryl's talent).
