Hong Kong Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F 3D Blu-ray (2015) [Region A Locked]

http://www.yesasia.com/global/dragon...0-en/info.html

Great to see it being released !

Day one purchase for me

Moderator note: There are Region B 3D editions available, but NONE of them include English audio or subtitles, so the only English-friendly option is the Region A locked Hong Kong release (which includes English subtitles).

Should this turn out to be region free, I will certainly order a copy. Sadly, us suckers in Region B land only have a worthless French release so far...

A bit pricey, but I definitely want it.

Sadly they never showed the 3D release as far as I know in the US from what I saw, just the 2D version and only for about a week. I was going to see it, but only if it was in 3D.

$53 is more than I would pay for a movie, but I'll wait till the price drops in a year or so hopefully.

This was only $38.40 with shipping to the US from DDDHouse.com

No English audio or subtitles - that's what makes this release worthless to me.

Nothing wrong with it if you can understand French or Japanese though...

How's the 3D on this one? Mild, medium, or strong 3D layers? Or a mix? The cel animation style in 3D is really unique if they get the 3D to shine.

Sigh. They released the movie in August in Barbados. Me and my brother were excited because this was the first anime movie to be released here. It was in 3D, too. Until me and my brother watched it. While it was really good, it was not as good as Battle Of Gods. The 3D is poor. I didn't really notice any depth at all. VASTLY DISAPPOINTED.

I looked at some SBS screenshots from multiple sources online, and I would hardly call this movie 3D. It was so mild with barely any shaping of the objects. It looked like an amateur's attempt at converting something in about a week. If anyone gets the actual disc, let us know what you think. Maybe the screenshots I saw were not a good representation for some reason.

Agree. It was a waste for 3D.
I doubt it's the screenshots.

Thanks! Disappointing to hear the 3D was an afterthought in this case.

Spain Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F (3D Blu-ray & Blu-ray)

This has been out since May 11, 2016 but it never gained much of an attraction among fans. Still, it's very interesting to see a Dragon Ball product available in 3D.

I'd say the price (€17.99 = est. £15.49 / $19.82) is pretty decent, but since I don't have a 3DTV and no plans to get one I'm gonna skip this.

Region: B (Western Europe, Australia/NZ)
Discs: 2
Audio: Castillan, Catalan, Euskera, Japanese
Subtitles: Castillan, Catalan, Euskera

No English audio or subtitles so really not much use unless you can understand Spanish. No English-friendly Region B edition exists.

What good is this? No English. Better off buying the HK edition

The Dutch sometimes have English dub/sub on their releases but doubt they released it in 3D-BD.

That's what I said, no Region B English-friendly 3D Blu-ray exists.

But if you do happen to find one, this is the thread to let us know about it.

Germany seems to be getting a 3D Blu-ray SteelBook release.

It's cheaper to pre-order at Amazon U.K. than Amazon Germany, if you want.
