Coming to both formats, this will be composed of live concert footage (shot in HD) from their last tour. I tried playing the 1080p teaser, but my computer gave up. Downloading the 720p teaser to try that.

thanx for the post. i actually went to that tour, its going to be a very good release. their last dvd was shot very well so i expect this one to have top-o-the-line specs.

No he did stuff at my concert from all the albums, classics off of preety hate machine,downward spiral, Sin,the fragile, and all the others the last live dvd they did was real good so I'm hoping this will be even better.

Love NIN, named by first born after Reznor. Saw them twice on The Downward Spiral tour.

I hadn't thought about getting any music titles in HD but I guess that's out the window. This is a must buy for me.

Agreed on all counts. I thought With Teeth was a great improvement over Fragile, which really doesn't do all that much for me.

Well today is the day for me to go to my TOOL show I'll have a heart attack if they release a live concert on blu-ray. A perfect circle did a dvd w/1 live song "the noose" , but TOOL would be so awesome I'd pay alot for that blu-ray disc! James Herbert Keenan, aka Maynard James Keenan is the man!

Sadly I missed the September show here cos I was out of town.

The gig earlier this year at the Paramount Oakland was just mind blowingly good. I wish I knew the CD better before going but it was awesome none the less...

I saw NIN twice this last tour. Would have been three times but one of the hurricanes caused them to cancell the show

lets not get into this, as the saying goes, there's Fragile fans, then there's everyone else...

btw saw Tool for Lateralus tour and they had a very beautiful display: two projections, the album art hanging from the ceiling as very large posters, and some giant balloon ball suspended by air (a fan). also maynard was dressed like mad max.

however after all the concerts i've been too Primus would be the best in high def.

Yeah I went to the Lateralus tour too this one IMO was alot better, and I saw them both at the same place. I finally got to see hooker with a penis and jerk off performed live........awesome. They had a stage made out of lcd's or something it light up all over the place and had lasers projecting things everywhere during some of the songs like Wings for Marie 1+
2. FYI, his mother was Judith Marie keenan, died from complications of a brain aneurysm. So he sings about her in Judith by A perfect circle, ,push it,Wings for Marie1&2 by TOOL

He'll be putting out Deluxe Editions of The Fragile, Broken/Fixed and hopefully Pretty Hate Machine as well if Ryko wakes the hell up.
All good things in time - if the 5.1 mixes are anywhere near as good as the advanced resolution mixes on With Teeth and moreso The Downward Spiral then I'll be picking them all up on their release day.

The live show is great news. I saw NIN three times in the last year (to make 7 times overall since 1994) and the setlists were great. Burn and Dead Souls are always good to hear live.
