Question about Final Fantasy 7 on PS4

How do you do the squat challenge at the gym in Wal market? I've tried every button combo I can think of but nothing works. Do you have to obtain the items in a certain order? I already have the sexy cologne.

no you don't have to get the items in a certain order, but if you're trying to get the trophy, check which items to get so Don choses Cloud

Im trying but nothing happens. Is Cloud supposed to stand at a certain spot? I walk in and go talk to the guy standing just outside the ring first. I try to mimmick his squats but Cloud wont do it.

huh? did you trigger the contest? I did find it weird that you didn't know the buttons because the game puts them on the screen when you're squatting

I just remembered that you have to get the dress first, and then Aeris will tell you that you need a wig, then you can go to the gym for the squat contest

to get the dress, go to the clothes store, the girl will tell you that her father is in the bar, go talk to him and he'll agree to make a dress for you, go back to the clothes store and try it on

When I go to the clothes shop the woman behid the counter says "please take your time and look around." The woman in the shop tells me "dont push hooligan." Nothing about a father in a bar.

Did you go to the Honey Bee Inn and ask the guy outside about Tifa? After that, you go to Don Corneo's mansion. You have to do that before you can get the items.

hmm then you need Aeris to tell you to dress like a girl

(I think) you need to go to the inn/club, it's in the down right corner (first screen of the wall market) you'll find guys standing in front of a door, talk to the guy who's blocking the entrance, and you can ask him about Fifa

*if it's not the guy at the door, try the other guys

anyway, when you find out where Tifa is, go back to the wall market, walk all the way up, even further than the gym and you'll find Don's mansion, talk to the guy at the door and he'll tell you that only girls allowed or something like that, and Aeris will tell him that she'll bring her "friend" and come back

that's when you can go to the dress shop

No I didnt. That's why I asked in my OP I'd you needed to do things in a certain order. Thanks for your help! This got me straightened out.

No problem happy to help. You only asked if you had to get the items in a certain order so I figured you had already talked to advance the quest.
