Talking Anyone seen SUNRISE EARTH on Discovery HD?

This looked beautiful on Discovery HD. I can only imagine how much better it will look in 1080p vs the 1080i that is broadcast on TV.

This is released on December 18, 2007

No doubt.

I'm not sure it'd be worth it for me to grab the Blu-ray version, as I don't think I'd ever make it through the whole way. It's one of those shows that just puts me to sleep.

Should definitely look good on BR though.

The China and the snow river scenes were the best to watch on this in my view. I will be interested to see how it looks in blu.

Thumbs up

It is a good thing to have on when I'm not really sitting down watching TV, but I want something on to keep me company.

It's a great show when I come across it on tv and need to relax, but I find myself at a pause when it comes to purchasing it.

I'd also like to add that I like the full frame for something like that as there shouldn't be any framing issues as to how the director wants things viewed...

it's just a shot of whatever is natural....the full frame gives off the sense of a "motion" picture...literally...

when I wake up and have no work or class, I just watch this and kick back until my brain starts working....

I record every one that comes on. Macchu Picchu was spectacular as was northern Maine. It's a great demo show to get people onto hdm!
