Hey everyone. This is my first attempt at making a gallery. I figured since I finally got my new TV stand, now was as good as time as any to take pics.

My cable management is ..er...none existent at the moment and some things need a good wipe down but I'll post new, better pics in the future.

Thanks for any comments

Looks Good

Wait until you have a lot more components and then worry about the wires

Lol, it took me months of living in my current apartment before I finally did something about the wire management. I found some 2-pack 3 foot velcro enclosed Dynex wire managers at Best Buy for $12.99. It took a few hours but was worth it in the end. You should have seen what it looked before . Good start on your HT by the way.

If you get to the point of being tired of seeing the wire Here is a good thread to go thru & see what others have done

Thanks Darkpoet Im enjoying my HT more now that i bought the tv stand.

THanks for the link crazyblue.

At the moment, I'm just going to leave it the way it is. I didnt cut new speaker wire when i moved the stuff, so most of the wires have no slack at all lol. Ill probably wait since it took soo much work the first time.

I'm thinking about buying some new Polk speakers. Either another pair of the monitor 40's for the surrounds or replace my fronts with monitor 60's or 70's. But the newb in me doesnt know much about speakers. Im not sure if my lil Denon avr would be enough to power the 60/70's. Or if the 70's would overpower my Cs10.
Any help would be appreciated before i waste my money.

I think the receiver will have enough power for the speakers, but you may not get out of them what they can actually produce in terms of sound. Consider a separate amplifier... that way you can use whatever receiver you want but still get the extra power the speakers deserve. Emotiva make good amplifiers that are reasonably priced, and many on the site will testify to their quality and customer service.

Your HT gallery is nice, by the way. Is it a smaller room?

Lol this feels like that scene in Twister. After it wipes out the town and they're all walking around in disbelief. Trying to recover that they can. "It's already here!!"
