UHD specs do not include 3D video. Some of the announced UHD titles are native 3D shot in 2K. Wouldn't it make more sense to put 3D 2K video on a UHD BD disc, compliment it with rec.2020 and HDR(and higher bitrates thanks to extra space on disc)
Now I have to make a choice, I can either get the Martian on 3D BD with rec.709 or upscaled 4K with rec.2020 and HDR. |
