Default What is the "best" audio option when watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)?

Yesterday I asked which release of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre has been your favorite to watch or collect. Today I ask which audio option best reflects the film. Do you favor the new 7.1 surround mix? The 5.1? The 2.0 mix? Or are you a traditionalist and prefer to stick to the mono as it was intended?

Or maybe you don't really care and just prefer to focus on the visual aspect?

I ask this because, while low budget, this film has one of the most atmospheric and effective sound editing layouts of any film ever made.
