Hi all!
A friend of mine just moved into a new house and this new house's basement was converted to a home theater room by the previous owner. My friend has tasked me with the job of finding him a projector that works for his basement. What I know is that the basement can go pitch black. There is no path for light into the basement. One of the walls has been painted in a "special" projector friendly wall paint, and even has a different texture than the other walls. And there is a bracket installed on the wall. I've tried to get more info out of my friend. Not sure about wall size for now. He's looking for something that's less than a $1,000 and apparently wants a projector without a bulb (which I'm pretty sure is impossible lol). The reason why he wanted to look into this is because he knows that I'm part of the Blu-Ray forum and that's what he wants to play on his project. Any thoughts? Any help is appreciated! |

under a thousand for an LED projector? not happening, at least not one he'd most likely be happy with.
the benq w1070 is still the goto under $1k projector as long as he's not susceptible to the color wheel of a DLP... fantastic projector, with the limitation of no lens shift though |

Hey!
I am new here in blu-ray forum. And I am goeing to buy my very first projector. What you guys think about Epson eh-tw9000 also known as 5010? There is one used that I have been looking for, only used 1090 hours. I know that it is not the latest modell, but I think that it is still better than example brand new eh-tw6600.
