I never did see this one, but the trailers made it look pretty good. So I'll probably grab the Blu-Ray when it comes out.

I’d have to ask, what trailer did you see? The 1st round of trailers made it look like a goofy child’s movie. The 2nd set did make it look interesting, but not enough for a blind buy. I’ll watch on Disney+ and if I’m wrong and it is decent, I’ll pick it up later.

I saw the trailers that came online when the movie was first released, and to me it looked refreshing. Not every film in the MCU has to be super-serious like Avengers: Endgame, and I liked the original Captain Marvel a great deal.

None of the standard blu ray copies I've seen so far in the Wal-Marts I service for new releases have had slipcovers. Disney/Marvel may have went back to slipcovers being Disney Movie Club exclusive for this one, or they're just really rare.

I watched it last night and very much enjoyed it. It's not Endgame, but not everything has to be. Good villain, good premise, some nice funny bits and I genuinely like the protagonists.

I'm gonna buy it.

Recently, Disney has slipcovers for the 4K but not for the standard blu-ray.
