Patch Adams on Blu? - Blu-ray Forum

I don't usually go for comedies or dramas on blu, unless I think they're timeless. Patch, IMO, is one I want to show to my kids when they're old enough. Robin Williams weaves his dramatic magic (see Awakenings, The Fisher King, Good Will Hunting, Jakob the Liar)...

Anyone know if this catalog title will get a release? I believe it was a hit at the theatres...

Ehh, the DVD version will suffice for me.

So I bought a HD DVD drive + the HD DVD version of Patch Adams a while back but didn't get around to hooking up the drive to my computer until now.

So this comparison will be between the HD DVD version vs the Australian DVD release, which I believe is from 2003, although the date modified in windows says it 1999, so maybe it's the first ever DVD transfer. Visually it would seem so.

So if this was to get a bluray release, you can expect it to look like this! (For best results right click image and open in new tab)
