George Carlin: It's Bad For Ya Blu-ray

so looking on bestbuy i stumbled across this

even tho bestbuy has it as DVD

the box art has it as Blu ray, can we get a confermation that this is coming on blu ray?

What I find funny about people here and george carlin is .. george was known for speaking his mind and blurting things out. I did not find him funny. I actually found him annoying.

Anyways, a man that blurts things out and speaks his mind, people love. Yet when anyone here does the same thing - it's an immediate - jump down your throat - NO NO NO!

Lol. Just find it funny.

To actually answer your question, that title has been confirmed for Blu-Ray day and date on this site.

There's a new BR.com listing for George Carlin's 2005 special: "Life is Worth Losing" on Blu-Ray. This is fantastic news as this was natively shot in HD!

turns out it was his last tour

he will be sorely missed.

I found it very amusing how obvious it was that George Carlin makes the reviewer very uncomfortable, to the point where he was straining not to turn his review into an anti-Carlin screed. Pretty impressive that he managed to walk that tight rope.

This is excellent news...I was honestly let down by his last special, and I was sad that it was the only one on Blu-ray. I don't remember much from Life is Worth Losing, but I don't remember being let down by it, or any other Carlin special before it.

How many of Carlin's specials were shot in HD or on film? I hope at least the ones from the late 80's forward would've been but since they were broadcast live on HBO, I highly doubt it.

All were shot on videotape except for 'It's Bad for Ya!' and 'Life is Worth Losing,'
which we're shot digitally in HD.
