Default Trailer for Unleashing the Demons, my new horror feature!

I posted this in the Banter thread but I’ve been encouraged to start a new thread to get a bit more attention

I’ve spent the last few months working on a horror feature, entitled Unleashing the Demons. The teaser trailer can be streamed on Vimeo - and in 4K, no less. I can’t figure out how to embed Vimeo vids in here (don’t think I can), so here’s the link: https://vimeo.com/300030301

It’s the sequel to a short film I made back in 2013, Inviting the Demons:

This one was initially designed to be a brisk 15-20 minute short, but during scripting I kept adding more character and narrative development, to make it worthwhile. The script ran 41 pages, which translated to a 50-minute workprint. But I still felt I could do more. And now we’ve written more material to shoot, which will put its eventual runtime at around 65 mins, my first movie to exceed an hour. I have plans to submit the movie to film festivals and such, so although it’s a direct sequel to the 2013 film, there’s also enough background detail for it to stand alone. I do keep toying with the idea of doing a recap to open the film, but I’d need a clever editor to compress the original film into roughly 5 mins - and the improvement in technical specs here is so huge in this sequel that I don’t want to risk losing impatient viewers through a recap.

Looking forward to hearing thoughts, comments, etc
