Not that one, this one.
This huge box shows up today and i am like what the hell? I don't remember ordering anything.
Turns out it is the Blu-Ray Harry Potter box set.

In order from beginning to end.

Wasn't that fun!

Dude, you don't actually eat Great Value bread, do you? Ewwww.

Looks like a fun set. I had it on pre-order and then cancelled it when I found out the discs weren't in individual blu cases that could fit on a shelf. Really no room for the box, but it does look cool. And all the little extras included look like it was thought out. Have fun with it. All my Potters finally arrived and I'm going to watch them this weekend.

Have you checked all the discs to make sure you didn't get a nasty little surprise in there (HD DVD disc by mistake)?

Cool pics, looks like you will be busy for awhile! Glad to see you didn't get any reds mixed in there.

That's awesome. They don't offer that box set here. So I'll just buy all 5 individually.

They are all Blu-Ray disk. :-)

I ordered the boxset for the fun factor and also that i am not into buying lots of Disks anymore. I went through buying VHS, Laserdisk and DVD. I am so over it.
Now i am just buying a few action and animation type movies now since i am really enjoying the superhero films n stuff. Mostly just renting.
My list is small but includes

Spiderman box

Harry box

All the pirates of Carib

X men

Superman

Some concert and couple more movies

I usually buy Bunny bread but last time was in a hurry so grabbed the closet loaf. Yeah, i won't ever purposely choose GV bread ever again.

When I picked it up in the store it felt like it had a lot of weight to it. Nice picks close up of what really is inside the set.

Yeah, Amazon is inconsistent with their packaging. I once received a big box that contained one BD. But more often, they stuff upto three BDs in the DVD mailer box/envelope.

Great pics, BTW. Nice for us who chose the individual route to see the contents of the set. Have fun!

Well, at least their "trunk" isn't like the old Rhino Monkees TV "portable record player" boxsets, where the entire top half of the box was blocked off, instead of being used for packing space...

Just to give us an idea of scale, HOW big?
Would it be more space-sensible to just store the individual disk "books" on the shelf?

“Please remove the contents of this carton prior to displaying on store shelf.”
That’s priceless. It never ceases to amaze me the ridiculous things we silly monkeys come up with.

I got the boxset yesterday. A thing of beauty. I immediately went through the whole set checking for any DUDs

It's DUD free lol

Hmm, everything fits inside. There is room to lay one more blue ray case on top and close it with no prob. Try two and it is a squeeze.

Apparently i have too much free time so i took better photos. The first ones were just pull a disk snap pic.

So this is the set

This is what looks like in each disk case

Sample of two outers

This is how it is packed. The box of bookmarks is on bottom.

The rest of the disk and envelope of cards are tied with a strap and set inside .

This is how big the box is with controler and Blu-Ray for size comparison

I like that boxed set. I guess it's really cool if you're into HP as much as some people are. I couldn't stand to dig through all of that crap just to get one movie out though. Individual bd cases are good enough for me.
