Skins return for series finale

Skins is set to premiere with its series finale with some of their original cast: Effy , Cassie (Series 1 + 2), and Cook (Series 3+4).

I watched up to the 3rd series as I could no longer watch the show w/o the original cast. I'm excited for this follow up, I wish it was with another person from Series 1 + 2 rather than Cook, but whatever.

Tony was my favorite in Series 1 and then it switched to Cassie in Series 2.

I just hope we get some resolution to the series 4 finale with Cook attacking that guy and the whole Freddie thing.

the 3rd generation of Skins had no likeable characters

but I agree with the above - we need some more kinda resolution with what happened post S4 finale with Cook

I loved the first two seasons of Skins. Never thought I would, but the stories, the direction and the cast were way better than I ever expected. No surprise, since it included upcoming talents Nicholas Hoult and Dev Patel. They never aired the following seasons where I live ...

Is it on the same level, or did everything fall apart when the main cast members moved on?

I did a quick Google search, not sure how reliable it is, but it says it's available on Netflix Belgium...

The first 'generation' (season 1-2) was the best IMO, but I enjoyed the majority of the 2nd group (3-4)... generation 3 (5-6) is when I started to lose interest, none of the characters were all that likeable and the scenarios in the storylines just weren't that good. I did enjoy Cassie and Effy's wrap-up episodes though (more so Cassie, she was always my favorite.. and Effy's ended lame).

My friend, who has Netflix, says it's not there. But thanks for the tip. I hope to check out 3 & 4 then, one day. It has the guy from Starred Up and Unbroken ... Also promising cast member.

Ow, I never liked Cassie ... She's one of the only character that made no sense to me. I can always see her acting ... But maybe that's me.

Probably best skip the Skins Pure episode because it's all about Cassie and instead of showing us what we wanted to see
