DeLorean cars that were once produced back in the 80's are now being fully produced starting in 2017.. All legal issues have been settled, an everything is a go.

Price range under $100,000

$100K for a car that goes 0-60 in 8.8 seconds, um no thanks. Doc must have put a turbo charger in his time machine.

I'm assuming they'll upgrade the engine in the new ones. I would hope anyway.

There's an article on Jalopnik that says they're getting new V8 engines with all new electronics on the inside, and that all the other parts are leftovers from when production stopped in the 80s.

300-400hp.

It'd be fun to own one, but not for $100k.

Yea, that's grossly underpowered, even for a naturally aspirated V8. I'd rather have the GTR at that price point.
