Asking for a 4K movie opinion, please.

Just recently I played my first Warner 4k movie on my Sony 65" 850c, 'Mad Max: Fury Road', and it was the best picture that I've ever seen in my life, better than any cinema or Home Theater. Superb detail, rich but not overly-saturated colors, excellent contrast and great detail in the shadow areas. Naturally, no camera can possibly match the human eye for picture quality, so I'm aware that 4k has limits, but even so, this was a jaw-dropping display of what 4k is capable of, made all the more impressive by the fact that the movie wasn't taken from an actual 4k source.

As for Fox, I've had different experiences, ranging from bad to fair to really good, so I'm aware that a person never really knows how good 4k is going to be for a particular title until he buys the disc. And that's why I'm asking for opinions on the 4k goodness, as well as the plot, on two titles that I'm considering, 'San Andreas' (from Warner) and 'Chappie' (from Sony).

I understand that 'Chappie' is actually taken from a 4k source, and it's impressive but at times overly-saturated, especially with red/orange colors. 'San Andreas', on the other hand, has been criticized as not much better than 1080p, but has the more enjoyable plot. For those people who own either or both of these titles, I'd like to ask you your opinion on which might be best. I only want to buy one of them, as 4k can be a bit expensive, so I will read your comments closely.

Chappie is an excellent disc to buy. I do not own san andreas.

Katiehlvr2, I had an extra 4k movie owed to me by Best Buy, so I decided to go ahead and purchase 'Chappie.' I understand that the resolution is excellent, and although the movie had widely-varied reviews, I kind of enjoy movies like this.

I was originally going to exchange my unopened copy of 'San Andreas' that I bought, but I just couldn't believe that the 4k version was no better than 1080p, and have decided to see for myself. Besides, I thought I'd read that the special effects were really great in this movie. So we'll see.
