Default The towering inferno

This classic back catalogue title is deserving of the 4K UHD treatment. The 2009 BD from 20th Century-Fox Home Entertainment was stunning and a definite upgrade from the 2006 2-Disc DVD.

Being my favourite movie of all time, the film is considered a cult classic and I for one would love to see Fox reissue it in this new ultimate format.

As the very first co-production between two major film studios, 20th Century-Fox and Warner Bros. Inc. this movie would look sensational in this glorious new format.

Distribution arrangements would need to be ironed out though. For the uninitiated the U.S. rights are held by Fox and Warners in the rest of the world.

Here in Australia we never got the BD release in 2009 but could easily import the WB edition from England or the Fox version from the U.S.

I hope Fox is listening!!
