Default A good cabinet for a decent sized collection?

Hey guys, moving into a new house soon and I'm looking for suggestions on a good dvd cabinet. My collection isn't huge (maybe around 300 or so?), but I'd like one that could hold a lot more than that.

I saw one a while back that had double doors and you could line the inside with dvds, and you could also line the inside doors with them. If I'm not mistaken it held around 600 or so which I think would be fine. I can't find them anywhere online though so I was wondering if anyone maybe knew what I was talking about? I know they were kinda pricey hitting the $300 mark, but I want something that looks nice and isn't flimsy.

Ideally I'd like to have a closed cabinet, but I'm opened to any ideas you guys might have. I just don't want to go back to having 3 or 4 movie displays!

BILLY bookshelf from Ikea comes with doors optional.Think they are hazed glass.Looks good, and would be perfect for storing that Fight club steelbook edition

Edit:It's probably called frosted glass, and not hazed. And to think it's a long time since I read Catcher in the rye too...

I own around 300 Blu-rays the cabinet I own is made by Atlantic company it holds about 400 maybe 500 but if you have special additions or collectors editions you can put them on top to save check out my gallery to look at it they make a bigger version also I think it holds 700 to 800 but is really good you can rearrange all the shelves and while you're at it would you please mind rating my gallery and leaving a comment thank you.

Media cabinet is the magic search term.

Have you looked at: http://www.wayfair.com/sb2/Media-Cab...0%5BPL%5D.html or http://www.onewayfurniture.com/stora...es-dvd-cd.html

I have 4 media cabinets plus other shelving, but I do not recall where I got them from right now. None of the above web sites look familiar to me. I started out with the version that has double doors that open out and you can place movies inside the doors and on the shelves in the back too. Okay unit but awkward to open at times and if placing on carpet, might be a little unstable if not careful about loading. I then went to units with sliding doors with glass windows.

I have 2 of these and one of these too.

These are much better IMO than the open up type that I also have, but they take up more linear space along your wall and cost more. All depends on where you want to place.

Take your time to do your homework. I only showed 2 search examples, there are more. There can be quite a difference in quality and price. Plus some of these places will bill your credit card up front and then take up to 3 weeks for your cabinet to be built and sent out. Just raising that in case it is an issue for you. It happened to me, in stock and ready advertised on web site, then no unit or tracking number a week later. Cancelled that order and went elsewhere.

Good luck.
