Default Store Exchanges on PS3 games

Does anyone know what store has the most liberal exchange policy. I just tried to exhange an unopened Nascar 08 at Target. Unfortunately the person it was purchased for got another copy for XMas and I was going to pick up something else. The bad part is I could not find the receipt and since I paid cash they refused to even exchange it.(that will teach me to use cash). I am only looking to exchange for another title. Any suggestions on what store would be best to try it at?

try trading it here for the game you want.
Another hint is if you use a CC , they can search you transaction at Target by that, saves the headache of looking for receipts.

try a bestbuy.... they are usually pretty good with exchanges on unopened items. with no receipt though you'll only get instore credit and only the lowest price they've had it at in the last 30 days or something

I have had luck with Best Buy.

Lowest price they sold it for and in store credit only.

You just need your driver license to do the transaction.

Good luc.

Any Target in the US can look up any purchase if you have the credit/debit card the item was purchased with. They just swipe your card and pull up purchase history. No receipt necessary. My wife did this a few weeks ago when exchanging some kids clothing.

(Circuit City CAN do this, too, but only the most senior of managers are allowed to, and most will tell you they cannot because it takes so long. One of their DM's is a friend of mine.)

He said he used cash and not a cc. This doesn't help him out. lol

BB will work as the others have said, but they only allow one return w/o a receipt per yr. Next best place is Walmart. They will do just about anything depending on how much of a fit you throw. (so i am told )

Right. I was making an observation, not a recommendation.

Wal-mart will allow you to do a very limited amount of no-receipt returns every 6 months. They take down your name, address and DL # and keep record of it. At least they do here.

If it doesn't work out, you could always sell/trade it here on the Trading forum.

I exchanged several DVDs and other items for store credit (without a receipt) at both Best Buy and Circuit City in the past two weeks.

I would definitely try Wal-Mart or BB. Target is very finicky when it comes to returns/exchanges.
