Steve Carell has been in his fair share of dramatic films over the last few years and like Robin Williams, Bill Murray, and Jim Carrey before him, he has transitioned into more dramatic roles.
Here is a list of a few of his dramatic roles: The Big Short Freeheld Foxcatcher Seeking a Friend for the End of the World Little Miss Sunshine Crazy, Stupid, Love The Way Way Back Dan in Real Life He is obviously well known for his comedic roles in The Office (TV), Evan Almighty, Anchorman, Despicable Me and The 40-Year-Old Virgin. With that being said, do you think he is a better comedic or dramatic actor? He can be really funny (and I loved The Office) but I was pleasantly surprised with his performance in Dan in Real Life. My positive opinion of his acting chops have only grown over the years as his roles have expanded. |
