Personally I've been waiting for the BBC to release Emma (2009) on blu-ray. Whether they ever will I don't know. There's a Spanish release, but I would rather have a release with English menu's. For the time being, however, I'll just stick with my DVD edition.

I have the Spanish Blu-ray of Emma and it looks beautiful in high definition. I recommend it if you change your mind!

Anyone got Lost In Austen?
Is the blu worth importing or is it not much of an upgrade from DVD?
Thanks.

Llamentol are distributors, so they will just release whatever master ITV Studios provides them with. I think it should be good quality, based on the discs I have bought from them (Sherlock Holmes and Brideshead Revisited).

Thanks. It would be about £18 from Spanish Amazon which is a bit steep for something I've not even seen. It's for the wife really and she's not as fussy as me about pq.

Hi Nick! There are so many different adaptations that I was just going to post my favourites at the top and let other members post theirs. What do you think I should do?

Up to you fella, but I personally love the Joe Wright adaptation despite the constant pout from Miss Knightly I love the steadicam one shot around the house (he then went on to produce one of the longest steadicam shots in cinema history in Atonement)

For anyone who likes the movie The Jane Austen Book Club but doesn't own it on blu-ray, well now's your chance. At £1.99, with free delivery, it really doesn't get any cheaper than this. Hurry, mind. At the time of writing there only seems to be nine copies left.

I have updated the list.
